Modern Optic contemporary greeting cards and prints are created by hand on a mid-century Vandercook cylinder proof press made with soy inks on high quality, recovered fiber and environmentally responsible cotton paper. In this relief printing process, each color is created in a separate pass on the press. The reversed, raised surface is inked and then pressed into a sheet of paper to obtain a positive right-reading image. The classic cards are handmade with high quality recycled paper and matching envelopes. The designs are printed on acetate for striking clarity and intense colors. The cards are blank unless otherwise specified.
